It’s hard being a girl. I’m sure if you are a girl you know what I mean. I mean we’ve always had the short end of the stick in society, we have to deal with periods and pregnancy, hair and make up, and so much more. And we often don’t So I decided put together a quick list about some hacks every girl needs in their lives!
Put vaseline on your eye lashes to get longer, more volumized lashes!
Use any carrier oil, like coconut oil or jojoba oil. Put some on a cotton pad and use to remove makeup easily.
If you buy a foundation that’s too dark, add moisturizer to make it lighter!
Roll your mascara wand over a tissue before applying onto lashes for clump free mascara
Put a thin line of highlight above your arch of your brow and blend lightly for an instant eye lift!
Eat dark chocolate. It has a lot of cacao that helps you regain the magnesium you’ve lost!
Take a bath with lavender-scented bath salts. Taking baths help relieve your cramps like nothing else! Lavender is quite relaxing so it’ll help you wind down for sleep and soothe your senses!
You know that underwear you were going to throw out because of the blood stain on the back? Keep it and just wear it when you are on your period. That’s your special period underwear!
Wear dark pants. This one might seem obvious but, never wear white pants on your period. That’s a disaster waiting to happen!
Keep an extra change of underwear in your purse, locker, work desk drawer etc. You never know when you’ll need it.
Take a walk everyday. I know the cramps make you not want to move but studies say walking/exercising will help you period go away faster!
Put in dry shampoo then sleep with it in instead of brushing it out like usual. When you toss and turn, the dry shampoo will work its magic and leave you with refreshed and tousled locks!
Spray a (unused) toothbrush with hairspray and brush away your flyaways. This will make your hair wispy free!
Side braids are quick and easy ways to make it look like you spent hours on your hair when you didn’t!
Getting a fuller, longer pony tail is easy!
Spray bobby pins with a coat of hair spray before using them to start. This makes them stay in your hair easier!
Precut a bunch of fruits and veggies in the beginning of the week so you can grab one on the go.
Don’t do sit ups, they don’t help slim you down as much as a one minute plank everyday!
Drink a ton of water, it will help you slim down without exercising.
20/20/20: After looking at a screen or reading a book for 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds to reduce eye redness/soreness!
Drink soup before meals to help you feel more full and not eat as much!
